Kicking off the festivities of Oktoberfest 2025 is the 4th Annual Buzz Run. This 5K race begins at Sumter Original Brewery and stretches throughout Historic Downtown Sumter. We are excited to share that this is now a USATF-certified course. All proceeds from this race will benefit Sumter United Ministries.

Come join us for Sumter's largest street party and celebrate the revitalization of our downtown.  The proceeds benefit Sumter United Ministries, a program that has organically grown to assist the community with crisis relief, home repair, a homeless shelter, education assistance and medical services. This is their largest annual fundraiser; and we feel passionate about supporting this great cause!

The event will be hosted on October 11, 2025, on Main Street. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door (no refunds). Kids 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased through our website via Eventbrite. The event starts at 5pm with German music playing on Main Street until 8:30pm.  DJ Howie D's Entertainment DJs will continue the party in La Piazza.
